Support Eabametoong First Nation

 In COVID-19

Help stop the spread.

On Saturday, April 4, Eabametoong First Nation (EFN) confirmed its first case of COVID-19. Eabametoong is in need of any and all PPE items that can help stop the spread. Ron Missewace, EFN’s Housing Coordinator, and Michael Dellios, Toronto-based designer and EFN collaborator on economic development initiatives, are coordinating this campaign for support.

If you are able, please donate latex/vinyl gloves, masks (N95 or home made), aprons, tyvek suits, sanitizer or anything else you can spare from your supplies in any quantity you feel comfortable with. Dig through tool boxes, hunting gear, art supplies and first aid kits and donate anything that could help!

Email Michael Dellios at to arrange for a no contact pick-up or drop-off in the Greater Toronto Area. Items will be sent to the Eabametoong off-reserve headquarters on Thunder Bay; the first shipment will be Tuesday, April 14th.

Payment: Although donations are preferred, a small amount has been raised to purchase PPE from willing sellers or manufacturers.

Cash Donations: If you would prefer to contribute cash to this effort, you can arrange this directly with Michael, who can provide clarity on where exactly your donation will make an impact.
