Student Circles

Join us for our monthly student circles on topics related to Indigenous politics, policy and education.

Undergraduate, graduate and non-student community members are welcome.

Facilitated by members of the Yellowhead team, including Hayden King, Shiri Pasternak, Damien Lee and Julie Tomiak, we aim to offer advice, support and mentorship while discussing issues related to Indigenous politics, policy and education that are significant to students. All circles will be held at Ryerson University.

Topics may include:

  • Research/writing support
  • Intersections of settler colonialism and post-secondary education
  • Navigating ‘reconciliation’ and ‘Indigenization’
  • Contemporary Indigenous politics and policy

We are open to your interests and ideas! Let us know in the sign up form or email us your suggestions.
