Supported by the Johnson Scholarship Foundation, these funds are meant to support FNTI students in the Public Administration and Indigenous Governance Program (PAIG) program with travel expenses, emergencies, and technology or related expenses.
How to Apply
Current PAIG/FNTI students are encouraged to complete a profile on the TMU AwardSpring platform to access or apply to these funding opportunities.
FNTI Access and Technology Fund
This is a fund to support access (e.g. child care, travel, accommodations) or technology needs to enable students’ participation in the program.
Access Fund
Sudents facing circumstances preventing attendance in the program, such as lack of child care, car trouble, travel barriers to attend the in-person courses, etc.
Technology Fund
Students requiring funds to support tech access for the program, such as access to laptops, web cameras, or related technologies, word processing subscriptions, etc.
FNTI Entrance Award
Each student who enrolls in the PAIG Program is eligible for a $1,000 entrance award upon successful completion of their first two courses.
FNTI Incentive Award
Students who successfully complete their first year in the FNTI/PAIG program and commit to continuing on to Year 2 are eligible for this $500 award.
