Maureen Gustafson
Maureen (she/her/hers) is an Anishinaabekwe of mixed Ojibwe and settler ancestry. A member of Couchiching First Nation, she grew up nearby in Fort Frances, Ontario. She is a loving daughter, sister, auntie, friend, and partner. Maureen holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from McMaster University and a Master of Public Health from the University of Toronto. Her work in knowledge translation and health communications is informed by professional experience at Indigenous-led research institutes in both Canada and Australia as well as health and social service providers in northwestern Ontario.
