In June 2015, the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada (TRC) began telling the story of residential schools in Canada. They chronicled the harms and made 94 Calls to Action in the hopes of finding justice and reconciliation. In the four years since, progress has been slow. In 2016, five Calls were completed; in 2017 there were seven; 2018 saw the completion of 8; and in 2019, we are at a total of nine complete Calls to Action out of 94. This infographic shows all the completed Calls to Action in 2019.
