PAIG Instructors
The Public Administration and Indigenous Governance (PAIG) Program is a renewed program run in partnership with the First Nation Technical Institute, based at Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory, and the Dept. of Politics at Toronto Metropolitan University.
PAIG recently expanded to support learners through the Government of Nunavut. Designed for Indigenous students working in community governance, the Program aims to build the skills to practice sovereignty.
We’re recruiting instructors for our Iqaluit-based Indigenous Governance Program. We’re looking for those with expertise in Inuit Food Security, Community-based Governance & Indigenous Political Literature.
Qualifications
→ Instructors must have education and/or expertise in Indigenous Law, Governance, Politics, or Policy with subject matter expertise in either food security, local governance, or Indigenous literature.
→ Indigenous Graduate Students are encouraged to inquire, with a strong preference for Inuk candidates.
→ Courses are rooted in Indigenous pedagogy with a large student support team.
→ Courses in the Program are delivered in “intensive-mode” format, over 5 days.
How to Apply
Applications and inquiries are welcomed until February 15, 2026. Send your CV and course interest to: info@yellowheadinstitute.org
